There are some sure signs of spring going on at our house today.......the swing attachments are back on the swing set.........the debris is raked from the yard.........(and note that mound of sand in the grass to the left of the sandbox--that would be the "grave" of a dead spider that my son found in the grass. He thought the spider needed a proper burial......complete with a Littlest Pet Shop grave marker. Bless his little soul!).
We grilled hotdogs and burgers on the grill for dinner......paired with watermelon........(Hayden could live on watermelon if we let him).......
And, just as we were finishing the yard work, a lovely spring thunderstorm rolled in......and Kennedy was thrilled to be able to get on her new fruity raincoat and pink-polka-dot boots to greet the rain........
And, of course, the quintessential sign to pack away the snow boots and greet bare-foot weather........filthy-dirty little-kid toes!!
