One Winter Friday.

Today was a pretty low-key day in our house. The kids had no school due to mid-winter break--they have Monday off, too--so it was nice to enjoy a leisurely morning. Some of the highlights of the day........

Cleaned the kitchen, which looked like a tornado struck.
Organized my junk drawer and bill drawer......feels so good to be ordered.
Watched the tail-end of Rachael Ray.
Wrote a Stats exam--oh, they're going to love me for this one!
Paid bills.....always so much fun. A sense of satisfaction that we are paid up for another 2 weeks.
Took the kids to McDonalds for lunch on our way to the sledding hill.
Enjoyed several trips down a very slick sledding hill......including a few jumps.....OUCH!
Watched a bit of "Robin Hood" with my son while my daughter played at a friend's house.
Talked and bickered a bit with my husband before he left for tonight's ball game....GO BULLDOGS!
Thought about going to the game but opted for the couch instead.
Caught up on some of the favorite scrap blogs.
Updated my calendar for the next month...looking forward to five days in Traverse City with my husband in mid-March and four days in New York at the end of the month.
Caught the end of the Jeopardy Teen Tournament. I have become my parents.

All in all, a nice Friday. I'm getting read to make some frozen yogurt shakes for my kids before we settle down to a nice Disney movie. Looking forward to some scrapping tomorrow while my husband spends some quality time with the kids. There's just something so cozy about a Friday night at home with my family.
