My academic year is starting this week with meetings and next week, a whole new cast of students. I always start the year off with a healthy mixture of excitement, apprehension, hope for a great year, a bit of anxiety. The kids are at grandma's house for a couple of days so I can focus on getting my syllabi, etc. ready for the first day.........my daughter frequently asks, "Mommy, when are you going to be done with college?" And I say....."Never!" A student forever, that's me!
